Why do I need to give my taxID or VAT Number?

A Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) is an identification number used in the administration of tax law.

For companies, it is often known as VAT number or TaxID. For individuals, it can be either:

• Social Security Number "SSN"
• Employer Identification Number

If you have chosen to monetise your station(s) and thus generating revenue, this information is mandatory in order for us to declare to the tax authorities revenue we have provided to you for monetising your audience.

Regardless of wether you are subject to pay taxes or not on these amounts, you must supply a correct information when you register to the monetisation program and declare to the tax authorities of your country the money collected.
